After a day in the heat, we braved swimming on the Ohio and then paddled four more miles til we found a lovely campground where they gave us ice and a free camping spot overlooking the river. We paddled a cool creek as well.

Hi Jim and Betty,
We had a great time. NO RAIN but some scorching heat and headwinds. We continued all of the 125 miles to earn every inch we progressed. We got off the river around 1 this afternoon and are now showering in a motel outside Pittsburgh. I fly home tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you guys very soon!
